If you work in a startup in Web-3 or founded one yourself, you already exist in a very volatile environment. Cryptocurrency and blockchain may completely be out of the picture in a couple of years or become the future infrastructure of the internet. This is a bet that each and everyone of us takes everyday and this is a risk we inherently accept.
This is similar to signing away your rights to live when skydiving and accepting that the instructor could throw you out like a bag of potatoes if necessary to save their own life (yes, literally).
Therefor, if you inherently accept this huge risk already, why are you playing it safe and building something average that everyone would like? This is what I call the Blockchain Paradox. If you are in such a volatile and risky space, why not have some fun in the process and build an amazing product?

A Purple Cow is rare, and may raise controversy, and may not be liked by 50% of the population calling it scary, but you know what a Purple Cow is not? Its not average, it is different; and in 2023 everyone is looking for something unique and different.
